Technical Description:
- Android app captures screen using Projection API. That capture is streamed over an WebRTC media session
- Being a free to use service, Droidcast is only supported by STUN servers (provided by google). This app ships with some open TURN servers, but this may or may not work. (The reason for low ratings on play store)
- Session handling server is written in NodeJS. Its modified version of PeerJS.

Viwr aims at bridging the gaps in the current android app development ecosystem.

Gaps in the current Ecosystem
1. Emulator sucks. Even if they are x86 emulators, they can't emulate the actual device experience. And using the device as a dev tool becomes difficult at times. Viwr helps Android developers to use their device as an emulator.
2. Using different Android SDK tools is super complicated. For example, fetching battery report requires a docker installation, a couple of command-line executions, dumping the report, then importing it into the docker installation (Refer: https://developer.android.com/st...).
3. Developers have to go through a lot of complicated configurations for simulating external factors like location, battery, network, etc.
4. There is no one single report that we can look at to measure the performance of an Android app.
