Affinity Labs is a venture studio that builds and launches creator-led consumer software. We partner with content creators across education, wellness, lifestyle, and culture to co-found high-quality apps distributed through their audiences. Our model is designed for speed, experimentation, and product-market fit, powered by latest AI development technology and executed by a multidisciplinary team.
As we grow, we’re hiring a UI/UX Design Intern to support the design of multiple products across a diverse range of verticals.
Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile apps.
Translate product briefs into intuitive, accessible interfaces that reflect strong UX thinking.
Contribute to customer research calls with some of the worlds leading creators.
Iterate rapidly based on feedback from users, creators, and the internal team.
Maintain consistency across products by contributing to our shared design system.
Collaborate directly with engineers to ensure smooth implementation of designs.
A current student or recent graduate in a design-related field with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with best practices in modern UI/UX design.
Clear understanding of design fundamentals, typography, spacing, layout, responsiveness.
Attention to detail without losing sight of usability and overall product goals.
Strong communication skills and willingness to take ownership of your work.
Ability to work in high pace environments with limited input/guidelines.
Interest in generative AI tools or their application in design workflows.
Experience with no-code/low-code tools (Framer, Webflow, etc.).
Familiarity with component-based design systems or design tokens.
Understanding of basic frontend development (React, Tailwind, HTML/CSS).
Work across multiple live products. You’ll contribute to real apps used by thousands of users across different markets, from interior design and fashion to education and producitivty.
See the full product lifecycle. You’ll work closely with engineers, product leads, and creators to take ideas from concept to launch.
High-impact design work. Your designs won’t sit in a backlog, they’ll be built, shipped, and tested within weeks.
Pathway to full-time. For the right candidate, this internship may lead to a full-time offer as a product designer.
Duration: 1–3 months
Compensation: Paid, exact figure dependent on candidate experience.
Structure: In-person (London) preferred, with flexibility for hybrid arrangements
Team: You’ll work directly with the founding team and our lead engineers
Outcome: Opportunity to convert into a full-time product design role (with equity)
