About the team:

By leveraging expertise and data, our Product team will shape our product strategy and guide product iterations to refine and optimize our offerings, ensuring that we deliver solutions that exceed expectations.

About the role: 

As a Visual Design Intern, you will collaborate with the Design Team to create compelling visual assets that enhance Aspire as a product and brand. This hands-on, creative role involves assisting with tasks such as product illustrations, motion graphics, and UI design. You will work closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams to contribute to key initiatives that uphold Aspire’s high design standards.

• Create product illustrations, icons, motion graphics and other visual assets as per Aspire’s visual guidelines

• Collaborate with product designers to refine UI and improve user experience

• Organize design files and assets for easy access and future use

• Contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions to improve user experience

Minimum qualifications: 

• 0–1 year of experience in visual design, motion design, or illustration

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro)

• Strong visual communication skills, with a solid understanding of design fundamentals and creative problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in Figma, including familiarity with UI/UX features like components, variables, and styles.

• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

• Experience with motion graphics and video editing using After Effects.

• Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs.

  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Degree or currently studying Design, Visual Communication, or a related field

• A strong portfolio showcasing design, illustration, or motion graphics work

• Familiarity with Design Thinking as a creative process to increase design effectiveness.

• Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices in UI/UX design.

• Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles for various devices and screen sizes, ensuring optimal user experiences.
