Job Overview
As an AI/ML Engineer Intern at Beli, you'll have the unique opportunity to work with one of the world's largest restaurant rating datasets. Over the course of a 10-week, high-impact internship, you'll research, develop, and deploy a restaurant recommendation engine, working closely with the CTO, CEO, and software engineers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze & Research: Explore Beli’s dataset, conduct data analyses, and evaluate the best models and technologies.

• Build & Test: Develop and refine models, optimize for accuracy, and iterate based on findings.

• Deploy & Scale: Implement a production-ready solution that is performant, cost-effective, and scalable—bringing your work to real Beli users!

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in AI, ML, Statistics, or a related field

• Prior experience with recommender systems

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• A hands-on, problem-solving mindset with intellectual curiosity
