Fullstack Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented Fullstack Web Developer to help us build the next gen tech products to serve millions of users in every sector. This is a full-time, preferably in-office role based in our office at Mumbai, India, and we are looking for someone deeply passionate about building impactful products.

Required Technical Skills:

• We prefer at least 1-2 year of hand-on experience as a web developer. Not necessarily formal experience, but you should have been building great web softwares for at least 1-2 years.

• Ability to seamlessly switch between frontend and backend. Our tech stack requires working across the full stack (Next.js with TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL), so you should be comfortable handling both.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, as we use these across both frontend (Next.js) and backend (Node.js) development.

• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs, working with Prisma for database management, and handling authentication using JWT.

• Ability to write unit, integration, and end-to-end non-flaky test cases for both frontend and backend components.

• Experience with modern testing tools ( Jest, Cypress, SuperTest, etc. )

• Familiarity with AWS services like S3, ECS with ECR, and Redis for caching.

• Ability to utilize AI tools efficiently for problem-solving and research.

• Comfort working with our specific tech stack. If you're not keen on JavaScript/TypeScript, this role might not be the right fit.

Non-Technical Skills:

• Clear communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and show kindness even when dealing with errors or challenges.

• A strong sense of ownership and the drive to build impactful solutions.

• Quick learning and adaptability to rapidly iterate on new features and improvements.

• Leadership skills to help organize and motivate a team toward a shared product vision.

• Experience mentoring or managing junior developers is a plus.

  • Redis for caching

  • Prisma ORM for database queries and management

  • VPC setup inside AWS, ECS for backend services deployment
