We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer Intern to join our Summer 2025 Internship program. This role provides hands-on experience in product design, contributing to the development of intuitive and delightful user experiences for our cutting-edge payment solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to bring ideas to life and solve complex design challenges.
This role will be a hybrid work format, with time split between working remotely and working onsite from our New York HQ, 2-3 days a week as required by your manager.
User-Centered Design: Conduct user research and create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to address user pain points and improve product usability.
Design Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with technical requirements.
Visual Design: Contribute to the creation of visually engaging interfaces that align with Imprint’s brand identity and design standards.
Iterative Design Process: Collect and incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to refine designs and deliver optimal solutions.
Design System Contribution: Support the development and maintenance of our design system to ensure consistency across all products and platforms.
Incoming Juniors or Seniors graduating in 2025-2026.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and user needs.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design ideas effectively.
Ability to balance multiple projects and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in fintech or technology-driven solutions.
Hands-on experience in product design within a fast-growing fintech startup.
Exposure to end-to-end product development and cross-functional collaboration.
Opportunities to enhance skills in UX/UI design, prototyping, and user research.
