Backend Engineer (Internship)

About the role

This is a position for a super pumped intern who has good engineering fundamentals and wants to work on diverse projects (personalisation, recommendation, scale, etc) in a fast-pace environment

Duration: 3+ months

Requirements:

• Prior-internship is a must, preferred if you are building since 6+ months.

• Good programming fundamentals and can write quality code

• Basic understanding of frontend

• Worked on ElasticSearch, Redis

• Bonus - Worked with AWS/Azure

• Preferred - If you have worked on our tech stack before - NestJS(nodeJS), PostgreSQL

• Note: We thrive on smooth communication, ownership and agility. It’s a must.

Compensation: Based on prior experience, skills and culture fit. (Includes performance bonus)

About the interview

You resume will be short listed as per your prior experience and inclination to work with us.

Introductory call/ in-person meet (20-30 min) - We will discuss your work in detail. Depending upon the depth of skillset and culture.

F2F 1, Fundamentals of programming, batching, object oriented in JS/Python, etc.
F2F 2, 1hour - Programming or LLD system design - From a vague problem statement, concretise the requirements, DB schema design, performance, choices of architecture, etc.
storage/DB, etc.
