About this Opportunity
Peerlist is a growing professional network designed for the builder economy — developers, designers, indie hackers, and tech enthusiasts. We are on a mission to provide a platform that empowers builders to connect, collaborate, and showcase their work. With over 110,000 users, Peerlist is rapidly scaling, and we're looking for an individual to lead our partnership efforts.
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Partnerships Lead to identify, engage, and manage partnerships with companies and organizations that can collaborate with Peerlist on the Project Launchpad Prize and hackathons.
This role will be responsible for driving the full partnership lifecycle from finding leads, reaching out, negotiating terms, and closing partnerships.
You will also work with internal teams to create meaningful experiences for both our partners and users.
What You’ll Do:
Identify potential partners: Research and identify companies in the devtools, design tools, productivity apps, and other relevant industries to collaborate with Peerlist.
Build and manage relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within potential partner organizations to secure collaborations.
Lead the full partnership lifecycle: Drive all phases of partnership development from finding leads, contacting them, negotiating terms, and ultimately closing deals to bring partners onboard.
Host and execute hackathons: Collaborate with internal teams to host and manage hackathons, working closely with product and community to deliver high-quality events that attract participants and drive engagement.
Monitor and optimize partnerships: Track the performance of partnerships, ensuring partners are satisfied and the collaboration is mutually beneficial. Optimize strategies to maximize partner value.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 2+ years of experience in partnerships, marketing, or sales within the tech, developer tools, or SaaS space.
Strong communicator: Ability to pitch ideas, negotiate deals, and close partnerships with a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring smooth execution and follow-through.
Results-oriented: A proven track record of successfully building and managing strategic partnerships that lead to measurable growth.
Self-starter mentality: Highly motivated with a proactive approach to sourcing and securing new opportunities.
Collaborative team player: Willing to work closely with cross-functional teams.
Entrepreneurial mindset: Comfort in a fast-paced startup environment, with the ability to adapt and pivot quickly as opportunities arise.
Bonus Points:
Experience in building or managing developer-focused events or communities.
Strong network in the tech, particularly with devtools and design tools.
Experience with hosting or organizing hackathons or large-scale virtual events.
Why Peerlist?
Impact: Play a key role in growing Peerlist’s ecosystem by collaborating with industry leaders in devtools, design tools, and productivity apps.
Growth: Rapid growth potential both for the company and in terms of personal development within the organization.
Culture: Join a diverse, creative, and passionate team that values collaboration and innovation.
Flexibility: Enjoy a flexible remote work environment with the opportunity to create a meaningful impact.
