Full Stack Developer Intern

The Full Stack Development Intern will assist our dev team and be responsible, in part, for the design and coding of mobile, web-based, and conversational experiences, from technical architecture and APIs to function according to the product’s specifications. We’re looking for a promising intern who is well trained in modern databasing, ideally thrives to create excellent user experiences, attention to detail visually, and understands that “user friendly” starts with a fast and reactive architecture that delivers immediate user delight as an integral part of an ultra-fast, dynamic and iterative 24/7 global team.

Qualifications:

• Databasing: thorough understanding of legacy sql/rdbms complemented with deep knowledge of nosql, map-reduce, and graph databases and the ability to bridge those worlds.

• API: Ability to navigate effortlessly between SOAP and REST, speaks JSON fluently, understands the value of real-time knows how to stitch front-end with back-end in no time

• Web: Inner knowledge of React

• Mobile: iOS and/or Android dev experience, even limited

• Creative: fully understands that user interfaces are critical for a product’s success. Basic understanding of design principles (ex: material), techniques and tools (ex: sketch) a definite plus.

• Academic background: recently graduated or currently enrolled full-time in a Master’s degree in Computer Science

• REACT knowledge and experience a must

Nice to have:

Some data science and machine learning background in order to be able to understand effectively self-configuring software and usage-based UX/UI development, basic knowledge of the math behind machine learning, neural networks, natural language processing, languages (python and python), frameworks (TensorFlow, torch, keanor, …)
