Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features for Traycer's AI coding assistant

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance code for Traycer's VS Code extension written in TypeScript.

• Familiarity with CPU and memory profiling tools is a plus

• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks and bugs.

• Write and maintain scalable and reliable backend systems.

• Work autonomously to translate high-level goals into actionable tasks and deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in backend development, particularly in TypeScript, Go, or Rust.

• Proven track record of writing complex, high-performance concurrent code.

• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is highly desirable.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with AI-powered coding tools is a plus.
