Sharing important documents shouldn’t be a black hole—you should know who’s viewing them, how they’re engaging, and whether they’re really interested. Whether you're a startup founder, investor, or business professional, you’ve likely sent out pitch decks, financial reports, or contracts without knowing what happens next.
That’s where Papersend changes the game.
With Papersend, you can share documents securely, track engagement in real time, and maintain full control over your files—without the risk of unauthorized access or data leaks. It’s built for professionals who need more than just a link to a file.

Unlike most modern tools built with Next.js, React, and Vercel, I’ve taken a different route - sticking to the good-old Client-Side Rendering (CSR) approach with Angular.

Traditional file-sharing tools are great—until you need control.
No tracking: Once you send a file via email or Google Drive, you have no idea who viewed it or how engaged they were.
No security: Email attachments and open file links can be forwarded freely, putting confidential documents at risk.
No branding: Generic file links don’t reflect your brand’s professionalism.
With Papersend, you get:
Security-first sharing with full control over access
Live engagement tracking so you always know who’s viewing your files
Branded Virtual Data Rooms for professional, seamless document management

I've built several SaaS applications and internal tools with Angular, and while I’ve given React/Next.js a shot, it never really clicked for me. Coming from an Angular-first background, the shift felt unnatural.
The Angular community is significantly smaller compared to the vast Next.js/React ecosystem, which has essentially become the default choice—especially with Vercel’s dominance. This means fewer ready-made solutions, more debugging, and extra effort in finding well-maintained frameworks or component libraries.
If you browse dev communities like Reddit or similar, you’ll find an endless supply of boilerplates and full-stack templates—but they’re almost always for Next.js/React. With Angular, you often have to build everything from the ground up. Many of the Angular boilerplates that do exist tend to be outdated or too generic, requiring a lot of customization to fit modern needs.
That said, I enjoy the structured approach Angular offers, and despite the extra legwork, it remains my framework of choice.
