As the Informals Head for Meraz 5.0, IIT Bhilai’s techno-cultural fest, I was responsible for organizing and managing engaging informal events to enhance the festival experience. My key contributions included: Planning and executing a variety of fun-filled events and activities to maximize participation. Coordinating remotely with event teams and volunteers to ensure smooth execution, even during the college vacation period. Managing logistics and operations, ensuring a seamless experience for participants and audiences. This role strengthened my leadership, event management, and coordination skills while contributing to the success of Meraz 5.0.

As an Outreach Committee Member at IIT Bhilai, I play a key role in fostering collaborations and securing sponsorships for various institutional events. My responsibilities include:

Approaching organizations and potential sponsors to establish strategic partnerships.

Leading sponsorship efforts for Meraz, IIT Bhilai’s flagship techno-cultural fest, by engaging with top companies across industries.

Building long-term relationships with corporate partners to enhance event scale and impact.

Coordinating outreach campaigns, proposal drafting, and negotiations to ensure successful collaborations.


Through this role, I have developed strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills while contributing to the growth of IIT Bhilai’s outreach initiatives.
