Busy parents often struggle to plan weekend activities for their children due to the disorganized nature of available resources.​The lack of consistent sorting systems and difficulties in sharing and coordinating plans&nbsp;with other families only add to the confusion. As a result, many parents feel aimless and overwhelmed by the planning process.

The Hangtight team is committed to improving the socializing experience for individuals by identifying their needs and desires. The AI-powered recommendations aim to facilitate connections between individuals through compatibility, optimized mutual timing, and preferred locations.&nbsp;The ultimate aim is to help people easily connect with friends and activities that bring happiness and meaning to their lives.&nbsp;As the research lead, my task is to explore user challenges in coordinating hangouts and identify opportunities to enhance the hangout experience.

OverviewTinyTales, a startup that aims to "help parents find great books and short stories to read to their children". It has received feedback from parents indicating that it is challenging and time-consuming to find the right stories to read to their children from the company's extensive library.
