Director of Design

Established the creative and design strategy for all brands and companies at Influx. Managed a small, efficient team of designers in the execution of various design and marketing projects including UI/UX for web-applications, branding & identity, packaging, e-commerce sites, landing pages, sales conversion funnels, email design, video direction, motion graphics, trade show graphics. 

Successfully launched 10+ CPG brands and e-commerce stores. Created brand strategy, logo, guidelines, website (including front-end development) and marketing material for complete corporate re-branding. Worked closely and led teams within social media, content, development and ownership to build Influx (formerly Adboom Grp) into a Forbes Top 3 most promising companies in 2015.

Digital Creative Director

Designed UI/UX for fully responsive web applications and e-commerce sites. Successfully translated software features from wireframe through production. Integrated design sprints into agile development environment. Created complete UI and graphic standards for multiple applications. Worked closely with product owners, stakeholders and engineers to ensure a comprehensive UX strategy and UI consistency was implemented across all areas of the software.

UI/UX Designer

While at Campaign House, I had the opportunity develop the artistic direction and graphic/web design for numerous international brands. The agencies approach of providing fully-integrated marketing campaigns for every client has allowed me to contribute towards television advertising campaigns, web site development, email marketing, social media marketing and video production. My focus lies in providing a concept driven marketing campaign for every brand, and successfully executing through a variety of digital marketing strategies. My responsibilities range from web design and development, identity and logo design, copywriting, television campaign ideation and social media design. In my short time, I’ve successfully re-designed the agency pitch deck for key campaigns and played a pivotal role in pitch presentations for Bayer Pharmaceuticals and Post Foods.

Digital Art Director

While at Alternative Strategies I lead a small team of talented designers to create concept driven graphics for some of San Diego’s top companies in the entertainment and restaurant space. My role included creative strategy and design for print advertising, identity and logo design, website design, social media and e-mail marketing campaigns. As the lead designer, I had the opportunity to hire and teach multiple junior interns as they developed into talented professionals. Encouraged by the agencies “Think Tank” style, I thrived within the creative process contributing marketing initiatives and integrated social media that translated into bottom-line results for our clients.

Lead Graphic Designer

Copper Blue Creative is a lean and mean marketing and design agency based in North County, San Diego. In this boutique environment, I worked closely with the creative and art directors to create print, packaging, logo and digital graphics for some of north counties elite companies. My experienced ranged from designing on-property marketing collateral for Maderas Golf Club to producing the over 200-page annual sales catalog for TaylorMade Golf. Focused on elevating the creative for each client, the team at Copper Blue Creative allowed me to expand my design skills into creating interactive iPad magazines, socially-driven web graphics and trade show design. The collaborative agency approach proved to be essential in shaping my creative process.

Graphic Designer

Having grown up on the beach courts of San Diego and playing volleyball throughout college, working for the AVP Beach Volleyball Tour was a dream come true. As a junior designer, I had a behind-the-scenes view of the marketing campaigns for my favorite professional sport. Truly a labor of love, I re-designed the sales deck to incorporate the new title sponsorship, designed on-location advertisements, and illustrated graphics for upcoming events. Art direction and editing the action shots for every event seemed less tedious when you’re watching the games best players. You’ll still find me on the sand every weekend, see you on the court.
