Today I created a code screenshot generation tool in just a couple of hours using AI assisted coding.

I wanted a code screenshot tool with option to add title above the code window. Since I couldn't find this option in existing solutions, I decided to create one for myself.

First I went to ChatGPT, listed all the requirements for the tool and generated a proper prompt. Then I tweaked the prompt generated by ChatGPT and added it to Lovable platform. With just this two steps 90% of my app was generated in first 15 minutes.
I prefer to fix bugs from my end instead of asking AI platforms, so I cloned the project locally and fixed a few styling and logical issues.
Then added additional background theme options, updated SEO tags and deployed the project on Netlify.
I wanted this tool for creating technical Youtube shorts. SyntaxNative currently has background selection options, multiple coding languages support, font and spacing customisation and more importantly an option to add a title to specify what the coding snippet is about. It also works on mobile devices and has dark/light mode built into it.
