Working closely with the Marketing Committee, I lend a helping hand to physically create content, ideas and strategy to further the mission of Hands on Atlanta. Kendra Wise (Posner) was the one who got me involved and I love working to empower volunteer organizations in Atlanta through Hands on Atlanta.

Mission: Tackle Greater Atlanta's most pressing needs by igniting a passion for service and creating lifelong community volunteers.

As a long standing board member, I learned a lot about the ups, and challenges of running an organization that helps children exceed expectations and grow into worldwide citizens.

Over the many years of being on this board, I helped create and train staff to use a new CRM system for databasing children, parents and donors. My roll was to handle the IT, Marketing and support the Financial and Development committees.

It has been a pleasure to work with the choir staff and board members over the years as I helped this organization grow their budget nearly 4x, hire new staff, and help parents and donors learn about how they can participate in the choir.

Elected to work with and represent the Savannah Downtown Business Association. I work with great people who are educated business owners, looking to improve the overall prosperity of Savannah and the state of Georgia.

Urban STEM Academy is an organization that seeks to expose young students to the principles of computer science and engineering while promoting academic engagement in the STEM courses. Through our actions, Urban STEM seeks to create informed, innovative business leaders of tomorrow and today.

I am a member of the marketing committee and founder of the littleBits™ initiative.

During monthly meetings I help the children learn more by asking questions.  I let them arrive at the destination by guiding them down a path where they take the lead.

Teaching computer building is more than just parts and software. The kids have an end goal and it's my job to help the spark of imagination stay lit. Sometimes I have to make sure they are all focused, and other times I just let them take charge.  It's a rewarding experience and I enjoy mentoring children who were once just like me. (and some are nothing like me which makes it that much more interesting when learning to teach)

I coached U-10 and U-12 recreational and Select soccer teams.  It was such a rewarding experience to teach young boys how to work together as a team and build on their successes (and failures)

My company Digital Envy has provided marketing/virtual presence for events related to the functions held for the ADA.  We worked with the wonderfully talented and self motivated Maria Center.
