<p>FloodSafe is an AI-powered flood intelligence platform developed for the Youth Development for Climate Tech Global Summit 2026, where our team was selected as a Top 9 Finalist and invited to showcase our solution at the National University of Singapore. The platform addresses the urban flood awareness gap by providing real-time flood insights to help communities make safer decisions during flood events. Key Features: • AI-based Flood Hazard Index for real-time risk prediction • Flood-safe navigation to avoid high-risk routes • Community-based flood reporting system • WhatsApp integration for alerts, reporting, and emergency SOS The system has been implemented as a Progressive Web App (PWA) with offline-first capabilities and supports multiple cities, including Yogyakarta and Singapore, with hundreds of monitored flood hotspots . My Role (Frontend Developer): I was responsible for developing the user interface and ensuring a seamless user experience across the platform, including: • Designing and implementing responsive UI components • Integrating real-time data visualization into the frontend • Building interactive features for reporting and navigation • Optimizing performance for accessibility and usability This project reflects how technology, AI, and community collaboration can be combined to build more resilient and safer cities.</p>
