IT Solutions Management for Human Services (ISM) is a group of Health and Human Services (H/HS) Information Technology (IT) professionals representing federal, state, and local governments, from the U.S., its Territories, Canada, other countries, as well as the private sector. The annual conference brings stakeholders from government and the private sector together to create a program that helps improve the quality of software in human services. As a planning committee member, I help organize the conference programming and tradeshow planning.

The Institute was a design studio, dedicated to creating learning experiences rooted in the principles of game design and to supporting teachers who wish to make learning irresistible. Major backers included The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.

The New York French American Charter School is the first bilingual biliterate French/English public school in New York City. 

As head of the technology, I was responsible for helping the school develop and implement a technology plan to support 200 students from Kindergarten to 3rd grade. 

Significant accomplishments included:
- Creation and implementation of phone and internet infrastructure including cabling of 4-story school building to support e-learning in every classes.
- Sourcing, through donations, of computers and networking equipment for all classes in the school. 
- Development and implementation of a content-managed web infrastructure.
- Launch of multiple emailing lists to support each classes individually, each grade individually, and the school as a whole.
- Creation of standardized approach to document handling, student tracking, performance tracking, student and teacher evaluation, and course-work sharing.

With other advisers, reviewed and shaped the presentation program for this yearly conference organized by O'Reilly and Techweb to present the latest and greatest innovation in the social, internet, and mobile space.

Helped create an advocacy group advocating the use of inline skates and the development of legal street skating in New York City.  The largest part of our effort was the development of one of the largest weekly inline skate event in New York City, frequently bringing in hundreds of people on Wednesday night to skate on a 10 miles trip through the city.  Worked with the NYPD to get routes approved and source undercover NYPD officer to ensure that the skate was handled in a safe fashion. 

Worked with other volunteers to manage crowd control and ensure that all participants could safely run trough the whole course. Also worked on ensuring that participants who get hurt would be appropriately taken care of, either through first aid treatment or dispatching of ambulances when needed.

Built web site and communication effort to ensure cooperation and collaboration with similar efforts around the city, the country, and the world.

Was one of hundreds of volunteers who helped wire up New York City Public Schools with internet access.

Pulled cables through ceilings and connected them to computers in the school.

Init.ai was a company building smart chat agents. It was acquired by Apple in May 2018.

Nivo was an organization engaging youth through online sports challenges.

The Dorsai Embassy provides consulting services and hosting services to non-profit organizations, helping them develop technological capabilities. 

In the early days, the main focus of my work was on educating non-profit in how to use the internet. As knowledge of the internet became more common, my focus turned more to customer service, PR, and general communication support.

Originally incubated by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, Casebook is an award-winning patented SaaS human services platform. Our technology solutions are the response to frustration among human services professionals and leaders who have struggled with antiquated information systems. As a result, Casebook PBC has developed configurable, intuitive, and easy to maintain software in close partnership with human services practitioners. Our solutions evolve with policy and practice in child welfare and human services to provide the best-in-class experience.

T+ink was a global leader in leveraging conductive ink in smart packaging, smart-shelves, and smart pegs. 

The board hired me to take several ideas around conductive ink and turn a research and design group into a cohesive product-focused organization.

Significant accomplishments:
	-	Reduced company burn rate by over 20% and increased revenue by 36% year on year. 
	-	Improved investors relations by establishing first quarterly investors' update conference calls.
	-	Restructured German unit, Touchcode, to lower costs, increase revenue and accelerate product development. Established new approach that flowed information through T-ink systems in order to increase understanding of customer interactions with smart cards and smart packaging.
	-	Restructured US units to drive performance and revenue growth; Hired company's first Chief Revenue Officer to drive revenue and marketing accountability across the whole business.
	-	 Organized rebranding of the company's online presence into a cohes

Thinaire was a world leader in proximity engagement, enabling marketers to make video, print, and physical display units the launchpad for a set of mobile experiences. 

As a consultant to the CEO and as CMO to the company, I defined the company vision and turn it into business execution, through marketing and product management to drive sales, build brand awareness, and grow the company's customer base. As leader of the marketing team, I led design and implementation of all marketing and communication strategies, investments, policies, and processes. 

Significant accomplishment included:
- Established voice and branding guidelines for the company
- Working with the management team, redefined the company's product offering and positioning
- Drove sales and partnership development, driving revenue opportunities up by 100%
- Defined and launched innovative product offering in the Digital Out Of Home and proximity space

As a consultant, worked with senior management to develop strategic roadmap and initial implementation of a new set of products focused on crowd-funding. 

Significant accomplishments includes:
-	Modified company’s payment back-end to lower credit card processing costs by 23%
-	Helped company grow YoY quarterly revenue with a double-digit increase
-	Worked with internal stakeholders to help foster growth through partnerships and increase transition to a mobile-first company. Initiated and implemented relationships with Paypal, Stripe, Adyen, WePay, Cybersource, and others to help the company improve its payment infrastructure. 
-	Launched a contribution product that allows individual members of a Meetup group to contribute money to their organizers.
-	Created 3-years financial and product roadmap for evolving the payment infrastructure and payment-related products.

Launched venture-backed mobile marketing company, taking it from the idea stage to sale of the company. By 2012, Keepskor was one of the global leaders in designing branded games for mobile devices.

Handled all business aspects of the company, including fundraising, recruiting, sales, marketing, HR, accounting, product management, and project management for a team of 12.

Significant Accomplishments: 
- Recruiting of talented team; 
- Raised venture financing from high net worth individuals and venture funds; 
- Drove revenue to seven figures; 
- The company was acquired in 2014

Developed and implemented product strategies for next generation internet products in the transaction banking division. Oversaw the integration of multiple product offerings across cash management, trade finance, and custody services into single, unified platform. 

Managed cross-functional team of 23 in product management, project management, and product development to roll out global offerings with managed outsourced IT partners. 

Significant Accomplishments: 
- Customers wins and large scale implementation of 7-8 figures deals (eg. Apple, Twitter); 
- 8 figures drop in IT costs as result of the consolidation of platforms.

Created, launched and managed global bank-related technology unit, leading creation of new products in retail banking, credit cards, and corporate/institutional banking.

Managed development and operations of hundreds of internal and external facing websites and applications globally, with a core team of 60 in 5 countries, overseeing 4,000 people globally with 10-figures P&L responsibilities.

Significant Accomplishments: 
- Built new business unit from the ground up, moving it to $2 billion in yearly run-rate over the next five years
- Led global development of public and private content sites, building a standardized infrastructure for cross-platform content delivery in retail, commercial, corporate, and private banking groups
- Rolled out products in 80 countries, increasing deposits by US$7 billion
- Developed payment infrastructures that, at one time, were the backbone for 60-70% of all internet transactions

Founded and managed strategic consulting firm, growing it to 65 employees before being acquired in 2001. 

Significant Accomplishments: 
- Built new business and managed all business aspects of the company including sales and marketing, methodology, finance, investor relations, and HR. 
- Substantial customer wins with companies like Coca-Cola, Nokia, Microsoft, AOL, Time-Warner, and HSBC.

Oversaw all marketing and strategy effort for this integration consulting company with offices in Austin, Atlanta, New York, Boston, and London.

Launched and managed European operations with 10 people in London. 

Helped engineer sale of the company and of the company’s technology to two different organizations.

Co-founded and managed Developer.com, an industry portal; Worked as editor-in-chief and publisher, striking partnerships with companies like Netscape, Microsoft, Sun, and others to drive 6 figures revenue deals for the company.

Created, launched and managed the first internet industry portal. Managed team of 20 across sales, marketing, development and writing.

As a senior technical advisor to the CEO, helped launch the first global internet-based high-end sportswear fashion company. Moved into Interim CTO position and redesigned technology organization team structure, implemented changes to technology back-end and launched site on aggressive timeline deliverables.

Created new online business unit, based on content of the then best-selling Net.Books series. Handled all aspects of development and management of the website, which was one of the top internet sites by traffic. 

Wrote web site reviews for "net money", "net sports", and "net trek". Developed chapter-by-chapter outline and co-wrote "net tech" and "net games."

Advisory services on digital transformation, innovation, and entrepreneurship. To date, clients have included companies like Apple, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, and others. Boutique services also include helping startups through practical temporary leadership in product management, marketing, and technology.
