Due to the increase in the practice of charging an Early Cancellation Penalty (ECP) by all Texas REP’s, the D2D sales agents cannot enroll customers the day of the sales pitch because these customers aren't at the contract end date and would be charged an ECP by their current provider. The second reason for this change is D2D sales team cannot sell to a customer that requires a Move-in for a new residence. These two situations have resulted in the loss of many potential enrollments.
