Submission Guidelines for Character Submissions
These guidelines are essential for submitting character designs. Please read them carefully before submitting to ensure your character is accepted for review. Characters that do not adhere to these rules will be returned without a review.
Key Requirements:
- Animal-Related: Every character must be animal-related. This means the character is an animal, or a person, creature, or being whose design, traits, or identity is clearly tied to an animal. Examples include a wolf, a crow, a person with hawk wings, or a creature that is a hybrid of an animal and something else. Characters that are merely human with a pet or a favorite animal that doesn't influence the design will not be accepted.
- Original Idea: The character must be your own original creation. Do not submit characters that belong to someone else, have been renamed or slightly altered from existing characters, or have been traced or copied from other works. Inspiration is welcome, but direct copying or significant alteration of another's work is not permitted.
- Permission for Third-Party Art: If you use artwork or design elements that are not your own, you must have explicit permission from the original artist and state this clearly in your submission. Submissions using unauthorized art will be rejected.
What to Submit:
- The character itself, showcasing its appearance and animal connection.
- The character's name and the animal it is based on.
- A description or artwork clearly illustrating the character's appearance and its animal traits.
- A brief written description of the character's identity and personality, in your own words.
- Proper credit and confirmation of permission for any artwork not created by you.
- An optional short note about the inspiration behind the character's idea.
What Gets Rejected:
- Characters lacking any animal element in their design or identity.
- Characters that are not original or are lightly modified versions of existing characters.
- Characters copied from existing media (shows, games, comics, etc.).
- Artwork used without the artist's permission.
- Submissions lacking original writing or descriptions.
Submission Process:
Submissions should be sent to Julian "Anibis" Estes. Contact details will be provided separately. If you are uncertain about whether your character meets the criteria, please ask for clarification before submitting.

Final Note:
These rules are in place to ensure that all submissions are original and appropriate. Following them will ensure your submission is reviewed correctly.
