DEVELOPMENT OF A WEB BASED PERSONAL FINANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM This Project was undertaken as the Final Year Project for the Award of Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering. Whilst engaging on the project, it was realized that there seems to be no major (or even existing) Personal Finance Management System targeted at Africans (and possibly, developed by Africans) at the present. Examples of similar tools for the U.S and Canada is www.mint.com, develop by Intuit; and Kapital, based in India. Features of the Application at the present include: *Recording of All Income and Expenditure *Budgeting System for Recording and Tracking Budget. *Adding Bank Account Details and Tracking Account Transactions However, the several updates are due soon. In fact, some of these updates include: *Development from scratch of the backend design *Complete Overhaul of the User Interface *Expansion of Budgeting System *Automation of recording for Income and Expenses *Automation of Bank Account Tracking ***Other Ideas as they arise... It is currently hosted TEMPORARILY on the given domain for sampling/testing.
