The eSign project is a project that is issuing and verifying e-documents for graduates at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet. This project simplifies the application process and reduces the hassle of both students and corresponding personnel. Student Portal: Application for document: University graduates can apply for their e-documents through a user-friendly interface. Application Tracking: Students can track the status of their application in real-time, receiving updates after approval. Admin Portal: Document Approval flow: Designated officers can review, approve, or reject applications including comments. Digital Signing: Approved documents are digitally signed by the respective officers. Technical Highlights: Scalability: Designed to handle a large number of applications simultaneously without compromising performance. Impact: Efficiency: Reduces the time and effort required for both students and administrative staff by digitizing and automating the document issuance process. Accessibility: Graduates can apply for their documents from anywhere, anytime, eliminating the need for physical presence. Transparency: Provides clear visibility into the application process, ensuring that students are always informed about the status of their requests. My Contribution: As a key contributor to the eSign project, I was involved in: Developing the eSign server, student portal and admin portal using modern web technologies. Testing and debugging the application to ensure reliability and performance. The successful launch of eSign marks a significant milestone in our university's digital transformation journey, and I am proud to have played a pivotal role in its development. Using the advance features of NextJS server side rendering, image optimization, font optimization, api security using server actions etc. Backend: Node.js, Express Database: MySQL ORM: Prisma
