slide-wright is a free, open-source (MIT) agent skill that designs a new theme for every presentation instead of picking from a template library.
How it works
Tell your agent what you want: a topic, rough notes or a full outline.
It generates a custom palette, type system and layout, then builds a two-slide preview in that style and opens it.
Approve it and it builds the whole deck. Want a different look? Ask for a fresh direction and it shows a new preview. Repeat until it's right.
What you get
One self-contained HTML presentation, editable in place
Export to PDF or PowerPoint. PowerPoint keeps text as editable boxes with speaker notes; shapes, charts and images are baked into each slide background, and fonts are not embedded
Deploy to Surge, Vercel or Netlify for a live link that works on any device
Keyboard shortcuts: F for fullscreen, S for speaker view with notes, Esc or O for slide overview, B for a black screen
Install in Claude Code
/plugin marketplace add arifszn/slide-wright
/plugin install slide-wright
Install in other agents (Codex, OpenCode, Antigravity, Gemini, Cursor and any agent that supports SKILL.md)
Run: npx skills add arifszn/slide-wright
Or tell your agent to fetch and follow the install instructions in INSTALL.md in the repo
Use it
/slide-wright Make me a slide deck about [your topic]
You can also hand it rough notes or an outline, and ask it to revise the design or content afterwards.
