Prodoozie is a Mac screen recorder with the editor built in, made for presentations, lessons and product demos. It was called iRecord until October 2026.
Plan the video as a list of sections, typed yourself or drafted with AI from your notes, a PDF or a web page, on your own OpenRouter key. Read your script from a teleprompter that stays out of the recording. Record your screen, one window, or a cabled iPhone or iPad, with your camera and microphone.
If one part goes wrong, retake that section, not the whole video. Your trims, splits and section order stay where you left them, and every take is kept. When you press Stop, the silence at the start and end is trimmed and long pauses are shortened. Undo All puts every second back.
Then touch it up: a background and padding, your camera in a corner, side by side or full frame, cursor zoom that follows your pointer, and boxes you draw over anything private (solid, pixelate or blur). On macOS 26, captions are made from your voice on your Mac, in English. Save Video writes exactly what the editor shows, as MP4 from 720p to 4K, in several shapes in one go.
If the app or the Mac stops mid-recording, the next launch offers the recording back.
Pay once ($99) and use it on two Macs: no subscription, no account, no watermark, no telemetry. Your recordings never leave your Mac. 1-day free trial.
Requires macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later on an Apple Silicon Mac.
