HTML Deployer: Publish AI-Generated HTML to a Live Website

HTML Deployer: Publish AI-Generated HTML to a Live Website

I kept running into the same problem after using AI tools.

The conversation would start as a quick prompt, then turn into something genuinely useful: a landing page, a portfolio, a product microsite, an event page, or a simple tool built entirely in HTML. The output looked great inside the chat. But getting it live required a completely different set of skills.

Open a terminal. Set up a Git repo. Configure a deployment pipeline. Or figure out FTP for the first time.

That friction is exactly why I built HTML Deployer.

What is HTML Deployer?

HTML Deployer is a Chrome extension that takes AI-generated HTML and publishes it to a live website directly from your browser, without touching a terminal, without leaving your AI tab, and without any technical setup.

The goal is simple: make the last step as easy as the first one.

You asked an AI to build something. It delivered. HTML Deployer makes sure that output becomes a real, shareable website and not just a code block you screenshot and forget.

Why I built HTML Deployer

AI tools are remarkably good at generating HTML. A decent prompt in ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini can produce a complete landing page, a styled portfolio, or a functional microsite in under a minute.

But most people hit a wall right after that.

They have the HTML. They do not have a website.

Because turning HTML into a live URL still requires knowing how hosting works, how to use FTP, how to push to GitHub, or how to navigate a deployment dashboard for the first time.

That is not a generation problem. That is a last-mile problem.

HTML Deployer exists to solve that last mile.

The problem with publishing HTML manually

If you have ever tried to take AI-generated HTML and turn it into a live website without technical help, you probably know how quickly it falls apart:

  • You copy the code into a file, then realize you need a hosting account

  • You sign up for Netlify or Vercel but get stuck in the configuration steps

  • You try FTP and spend more time troubleshooting than building

  • You ask a developer friend for help on something that should take five minutes

  • You give up and share a screenshot instead

This sounds like a small problem until it happens every single time you want to publish something.

For marketers, founders, freelancers, and creators, those blocked moments add up fast. A tool that generates in seconds should not take hours to deploy.

What HTML Deployer helps you do

HTML Deployer is built for one specific job: helping you go from AI output to a live URL without the friction in between.

You can use it to:

  • Publish landing pages from AI conversations without opening a terminal or signing into a hosting dashboard separately. The extension detects the HTML code block automatically, so you skip the copy-paste step entirely.

  • Preview your page on desktop, tablet, and mobile before it goes live. You can catch layout issues in seconds rather than finding them after your client or audience already has the link.

  • Choose where your page lives. HTML Deployer supports Netlify, GitHub Pages, FTP hosting, and self-hosted server deployments. You are not locked into one platform. You pick the target that fits your existing setup.

  • Export a clean ZIP file when you want to upload manually or hand off to someone else. The file is ready to go without any extra cleanup.

  • Get a shareable URL and a QR code automatically after every successful deploy. You can open the page, share the link, or scan the code right from the extension panel.

  • Review your deployment history so you can revisit old pages, reopen links, or redeploy without starting from scratch.

Who HTML Deployer is for

I built HTML Deployer for people who use AI to create things, not just to get answers.

It is especially useful for:

  • Marketers who generate landing pages with AI and need a live link before the meeting ends

  • Founders testing ideas, launching waitlists, and publishing product pages without a dev on call

  • Freelancers who send demo pages to clients and want a faster, cleaner delivery workflow

  • Agencies managing multiple microsites and campaign pages across different clients

  • No-code builders who want full control over where their pages go without learning DevOps

  • Developers who want a lighter tool for quick prototypes, internal previews, and stakeholder demos

If you already use AI to generate HTML, HTML Deployer makes that workflow complete.

My product principle

I do not think AI tools win only because they generate better output.

They win when the output actually goes somewhere useful.

That means the page should not stay trapped inside a chat interface. It should become a real website that people can visit, share, and act on.

Most tools focus on the generation step. Very few care about what happens after.

HTML Deployer is built for what happens after.

What I learned while building it

A few things became clear during development.

One: People do not want more steps. They want fewer. Every extra click between AI output and live URL is a reason to give up. HTML Deployer is designed to reduce that number as far as possible.

Two: Flexibility matters more than simplicity alone. Some users want Netlify. Some want their own FTP server. Some want GitHub Pages. A good publishing tool should support the infrastructure people already have, not force them into a new one.

Three: The deploy step is where most AI workflows break. Generation is fast. Publishing is where people get stuck. That stuck moment is exactly where HTML Deployer becomes valuable.

What is next for HTML Deployer

I want HTML Deployer to become the most reliable bridge between AI-generated HTML and a live website, for anyone regardless of their technical background.

That means continuing to improve speed, deploy target coverage, preview quality, and workflow compatibility for marketers, developers, agencies, and builders at every level.

If you use AI tools to create HTML pages, I would love to know one thing:

Where does your best AI-generated HTML go after the chat ends?

If the answer is nowhere, that is exactly the problem HTML Deployer is here to fix.

Final thought

AI can build you a website in under a minute.

HTML Deployer makes sure that website actually goes live.

Because a great page should not stay stuck in a chat window. It should have a URL, a QR code, and an audience.

If that sounds useful to you, I would love your feedback, your upvote, and your honest thoughts on how HTML Deployer can become even better.
