Worked as an undergraduate researcher with Prof. MPS Bhatia on this project. •Filtered out restaurants from the Yelp dataset using the ratings as a measure to recommend restaurants using Machine Learning. •Performed a comparative study of algorithms like Regression and SVM under different data-input sizes and parameters for assessment of the rating of a restaurant.Used both collaborative and content-based filtering. •Developed a complete UI tool for this using Python and Django along with Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, CSS and HTML.
