Peerlist Launchpad — The Path Forward

What started as an internal side project has now grown into a thriving space where builders showcase their work—from simple side projects to full-fledged products.

In April 2024, we took a big step forward and made Peerlist Spotlight a weekly launch. Initially, we expected around 20-25 projects per week, but the response exceeded all expectations. We've doubled the weekly launch numbers. We’ve now seen total of 1,954 launches so far! And in watching these launches, we’ve noticed a major shift.

With the rise of AI tools like v0 and Lovable, more builders, indie hackers, developers, and designers are creating powerful, polished products at an unprecedented pace. Calling them “side projects” doesn’t always do justice to the effort and vision behind them. That’s when we realized: Spotlight needs to evolve.

A space where shipping projects feels natural, where builders can showcase their work to the world, and where getting your first 100 users (or your first paying customers) is just part of the journey. We are making sure that Peerlist is ready to support this next wave of innovation.

As one of the perk/rewards for the most engaged power users we're introducing Super Upvotes (2x upvote weight) on Launchpad. This means your upvote on any launched project will carry twice the weight of a regular upvote.

Peers with Super Upvote will also have a distinguished ⚡️ badge on their profile picture in supporter’s widget.
