TaskPocket 2.0
I first launched TaskPocket here in the summer. Back then it was web only, with no tags and no iPhone app, and I promised early users they'd keep it free. That promise held: if you signed up while TaskPocket was free for everyone, you still have Premium at no cost.
Since then I've used it every day and kept building. Here's what's new:
An iPhone app. It works offline and syncs in the background.
Type it like you'd say it. "water the plants every other saturday at 10am" sets the date, the repeat, and a 10:00 reminder. Add #errand and it gets a tag too.
Tags, free on every plan. Plus smart projects: saved filters that sit next to your projects (Premium).
Files on tasks. Pictures and PDFs preview right in the browser.
Reminders: one per task, at a time on its start date, on the web and on iPhone.
A month calendar of your upcoming tasks (Premium, web).
A public REST API and a hosted MCP server. There's still no AI inside, but now you can connect the Claude or ChatGPT you already pay for.
Notes are now Markdown.
What stayed the same: inbox, today, someday, a checklist on every task, and projects grouped into areas. Nothing to set up.
What's not there yet: Android and desktop apps (both planned), priorities, and importing from other apps.
The free plan has unlimited tasks, 5 projects, and 2 areas. Premium is $3.99 a month, $34.99 a year, or $59.99 once.
