As developers, we usually manage MongoDB from tools like desktop clients or cloud dashboards.

But one day I asked myself:
Why do we always need a laptop to access our database?
That question became MongoLens.

MongoLens is a mobile-first MongoDB client that lets developers:
🔐 Connect securely using fingerprint authentication
📱 Access MongoDB from anywhere
📊 Visualize collections in graphical view
✏️ Edit documents directly from graphs
🌙 Switch between light & dark mode
⚡ Work without needing a PC
It’s designed especially for developers who want quick access to their database while traveling, debugging, or monitoring production.
As an indie developer, I work on multiple projects — including web apps, mobile apps, and tools.
Sometimes:
A production issue happens.
A quick data update is needed.
Or I just want to monitor collections.
Opening a laptop every time felt inefficient.
So I built a tool that fits in my pocket.
MongoLens is built using:
React Native
Modern backend architecture
Secure MongoDB connection handling
Biometric authentication
Optimized document visualization engine
Performance and security were top priorities.
The most exciting feature is:
📊 Graphical Document View + Direct Editing
Instead of reading raw JSON, you can visualize documents as structured graphs and edit them visually.
This makes understanding complex nested data much easier.
Building a mobile MongoDB client wasn’t simple.
Handling secure URI connections
Managing performance with large collections
Designing intuitive graph visualization
Keeping the app lightweight
But solving these challenges made the product stronger.
I’m continuously improving MongoLens:
Adding AI-powered features
Improving visualization
Enhancing performance
Listening to developer feedback
This is just the beginning.
Developers deserve tools that:
Save time
Improve clarity
Work anywhere
Feel modern
MongoLens is my step toward that vision.
