2024 marked a significant milestone in my journey of building software products. I launched four products this year, but my primary focus has been on two strategic ones: Ebookany.com and Sheetany.com.
Ebookany: A Remarkable LTD Success
Ebookany made a strong impression with the launch of its Lifetime Deal (LTD) program, a strategic move to attract and engage users. The results were highly encouraging, proving that the idea of converting online content into EPUB or PDF formats with Ebookany perfectly meets customer needs.
Sheetany: A Simple Content Management Solution
Sheetany has continued to establish itself as a WordPress alternative, enabling users to quickly create blogs 📝, directories 📂, e-commerce websites 🛒, or job boards 💼 using Google Sheets. With its simple interface and automatic table-of-contents generation feature, the product has become an essential tool for those seeking effortless content management.
Goals for 2025: Looking Ahead
In 2025, I aim to achieve $5K to $10K in MRR for both Ebookany and Sheetany.
AI features will become a core focus, enhancing the products to solve more complex customer problems.
Continued investment in SEO, which remains a key driver for attracting customers.
Key Lessons Learned
Build an MVP quickly: Instead of over-perfecting during development, prioritize getting the product to market fast.
Focus on customer feedback: Listen closely to your users, especially paying customers.
Prioritize core features: Focus on solving key customer problems effectively.
Coding isn’t everything: Selling is the most crucial skill; having customers leads to valuable feedback for improvement.
Perseverance is key: This path can be discouraging at times. It took me two months to get my first paying customer, but it was a pivotal and meaningful moment. After that, everything became smoother.
2024 was a year full of achievements and lessons. I will carry these valuable experiences into 2025 with great ambition, working tirelessly to take Ebookany and Sheetany to new heights!😊
