UACCS Attendance App was a web-based attendance monitoring system for the College of Computer Studies at the University of Antique. It was developed to streamline how the college tracks student participation at events. The Attendance App allows students to log their attendance by generating a unique QR code for a specific event. This system was built to eliminate manual sign-in sheets and long queues, making event tracking faster and more efficient. The app's key features include: QR Code Attendance: Students can generate and use a QR code to quickly and securely log their attendance. Google Single Sign-On: Integrated Google Sign-On with university emails for a seamless and secure login experience. The UACCS Attendance App was successfully launched in October, coinciding with the new academic semester. The initial launch saw impressive engagement, with 200 users and over 1,000 page views on the first night. Within just two months, the app was used to track attendance for eight different college events. The system successfully scanned and recorded 1,822 attendances from 662 unique users, demonstrating its effectiveness in a live environment. This project provided invaluable hands-on experience in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept and development to deployment and maintenance.
