Citrine is an Android trading bot for Coinbase Advanced BTC/ETH perpetual futures on Coinbase Derivatives Exchange (CDE), for eligible accounts. It brings BTC and ETH strategy monitoring, simulation, historical replay and live automation into one on-device workspace.

On-device by design

Trading automation runs locally in the background on Android. Funds remain in the user's Coinbase account, and API keys stay encrypted on the device rather than on Citrine Edge servers. The app shows entry readiness, available capacity and position details, and manages Coinbase-hosted stop-loss and take-profit protection where supported.

Test before live automation

The free Explore tier includes Paper Mode with configurable simulated funds and no API key required, account-aware Shadow Mode, and historical backtesting. Replay uses recorded trades, one-second bid/ask data and reconstructed price paths, with fees and available funding reflected in the results. Replay history, favorites and JSON exports make the assumptions and results inspectable.

A concise overview keeps both markets visible; expandable details explain what sits behind the strategy and portfolio numbers. The native screenshots below show a simulated account, not live performance.

Availability

Citrine is available on Google Play. Explore is free; Complete adds live automation through a Google Play subscription. Live use requires an eligible Coinbase Advanced account for the supported CDE contracts and a powered, connected Android device with background operation allowed. Trading and simulation remain in USD; Google Play subscription billing is separate. Canadian access is limited to qualifying accounts and supported provinces or territories. Citrine is independent of Coinbase.
