About Code and Sea

Code and Sea is a solo indie venture focused on creating simple, intentional software built on the principles of ownership, slow development, and radical transparency. Unlike traditional subscription models, products are designed to be owned outright, providing a one-time purchase for lifetime access to premium features. The venture balances development with a full-time career, prioritizing quality and longevity over rapid growth. All code and development hurdles are shared publicly, offering a transparent look into the creation process.

Featured Products

• Transcendence: A minimalist meditation timer designed for a deep, distraction-free practice. It emphasizes privacy-first design with no tracking or social features, and is available as a one-time purchase.

Philosophy

• Ownership Over Rent-ship: Software that runs locally should be bought once and owned forever, with no recurring fees for local software.

• Intentionally Slow: Building only what matters with a focus on quality and longevity, constrained by balancing development with a full-time career and personal well-being.

• Radically Transparent: Building in public, sharing code, technical challenges, and the personal transition from corporate life.
