Rather than using AI to replace human judgment, ALCHM uses intentionally bounded AI to help people revisit meaningful thoughts, notice patterns over time, and continue thinking with greater clarity.

We deliberately removed many mechanics common in modern software, including streaks, emotional scoring, endless conversations, and engagement loops, because we believe thoughtful products earn trust through restraint.

Our work sits at the intersection of writing, interaction design, privacy, accessibility, and humane AI.
