Every year, thousands of families lose a dog or cat and turn to Facebook groups, flyers, or paid "pet finder" services that profit from their panic. Animalert is different: a free, non-profit app that turns an entire neighborhood into a search network in seconds. Report a lost, found, or deceased animal in three minutes, and nearby users, shelters, and city services get alerted instantly.

We're a registered non-profit (loi 1901, since 2024), started and built by a solo founder-developer, now backed by 45 active volunteers. No ads, no data resale, no shareholders, because distress, human or animal, should never be monetized.

500+ reports handled in testing, live on the App Store and Google Play since August 2026, and now partnering with city governments to fund free access for every family.
