QA Engineer

• Analyze BRD / User stories / UML diagrams and deduce high level scenarios and use cases
• Responsible for the development and execution of manual test cases and scripts
• Utilize knowledge of testing techniques and methodologies to manage and execute functional software testing
• Should have a basic understanding about Automation tools
• Should have a basic understanding about Programming languages
• Must have knowledge on SQL/MySQL queries
• Must have Knowledge on API Testing
• Assist in defining the Company testing methodologies and quality control standards.
• Create and execute release and upgrade test plans.
• Contribute to written policies/procedures for quality assurance.
• Troubleshoot defects and manage defect tracking and resolution processes so that a consistent, documented process is used and followed.
• Fully document any unexpected anomalies or defects identified in testing with instructions of how to recreate each.
• Maintain well-organized records of test results and generate historical analysis of test results.
• Work with technical resources to discuss and troubleshoot issues.
• Must possesses good experience on Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
• Tools – Good experience on tools such as Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, qTest, Asana, Qmetry, Azure DevOps
