Software Engineer

Position Overview

We’re growing our Cloud Platform & Infrastructure Engineering team within Autodesk’s Digital Enterprise Services IT organization. This team leverages Software Engineering principles to build the foundations for the company’s business critical systems and processes, utilizing “cloud-first” platforms and services.

The team is seeking a Software Engineer who will have a critical role on how we design, build, and deliver reusable managed cloud stacks

Responsibilities

• Design, develop web applications to enhance Autodesk enterprise cloud platform

• Configure and implement the public cloud environment for enterprise and business applications

• Deliver End to End Migration outcomes for Product teams

• Build and extend infrastructure automations for enterprise and business applications in the public cloud environment

• Interact with enterprise and business application engineering teams to understand requests/issues, establish clear expectations, and provide effective communication

• Design and build automation solutions to reduce manual efforts and increase team efficiency

• Leverage AI tools for Automation, Quality Assurance and developer productivity

Minimum Qualifications

• 3-6 years of Hands-on experience in .NET framework (C#), Entity framework, Rest API, MVC and Angular

• Automation experience using Python

• Ability to create dashboards using Power BI

• Hands-on experience with the AWS Cloud (i.e. EC2, RDS, S3 Bucket, Konga API Gateway etc.)

• Good to have knowledge on JS framework – Angular, React

• Well versed with AI tools for development, QA and Automations

• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and No-SQL (MongoDb) databases.

• Ability to translate architectural requirements into component design

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
