Senior Product Designer

Job Description

As an senior product designer, you are able to support / work independently to understand our business requirements and create delightful user experiences. Be a part of user research and translating them into sitemaps, user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes, validates the proposed solutions with users. Have a strong understanding of usability best practices. You will be part of the product team, working closely with product owners and engineers to build the right experiences for our products. In this role, you should be both analytical and creative, able to grasp user needs and solve problems. Ultimately, you will make our product more user-friendly and intuitive, in order to attract and retain customers. Simply put, you will be passionately and constantly solving challenging problems. 

Responsibilities:

• Effectively lead discussions and design activities with team members and partners

• Able to manage multiple projects and negotiate competing priorities with product and engineering peers

• Initiate problem statement discussions, ideate and design solutions  

• Execute a vision that has been laid out and ask additional questions to clarify ambiguity

• Articulate design decisions effectively

• Work with design systems and languages

• Have a strong eye for aesthetics

• Apply basic understanding of User Research methodologies

• Apply experience with information architecture, requirements synthesis, and new product explorations

• Not just delivery, but be accountable for the quality of solutions you are working on.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer with a proven track record.

• Bachelor's or Masters’ degree in Design or HCI preferred.

• An outstanding portfolio, showcasing your work with a foundation in interaction and visual design, and idea generation.

• Ability to conduct user research and user testing 

• Expert in creating information architecture, user interface and interaction design, prototyping, etc. 

• Use tools like Figma, Miro, Jira, etc. and understanding of development technologies 

• Ability to work with users to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet business needs and intent 

• Solid design background with a keen eye for quality and details. 

• A plus if you have fintech knowledge and experience.
