Social Media and Community Manager

IndiForge is a platform for indie game developers — think LinkedIn meets Patreon for game devs. We help developers form teams, manage projects, post dev updates, and get funded by supporters. We have officially launched, with 100+ developers already on the platform and an established TikTok presence.

We're looking for someone to own two things: our TikTok presence and our Discord community.

What you'd be doing:

• Creating and posting TikTok content (3-5x/week) that drives indie game developers to sign up for IndiForge.

• Managing and growing our Discord community — welcoming new members, keeping conversations going, surfacing feedback to the team.

• Engaging with the indie game dev community on social media (X/Twitter, TikTok comments, Reddit threads).

• Tracking what's working and what's not — signup conversions, follower growth, community engagement.

What we're looking for:

• You actually understand the indie game dev space — you play indie games, follow devs, or are a dev yourself.

• You know how TikTok works — not just posting, but what makes content perform (hooks, trends, pacing).

• You're comfortable being on camera or creating engaging content without needing hand-holding.

• You can write in a way that sounds human, not like a marketing textbook.

• Self-starter who doesn't need to be told what to post every day.

Compensation: This is a performance-based contract role, not salaried. IndiForge is bootstrapped. You'd earn 7-10% of net platform revenue (our platform fees, not gross transactions).

This is a great opportunity to lead the marketing operation for an established startup in the gaming industry. If you need a paycheck on day one, this isn't the right fit — but if the platform grows, this becomes real money.

This is remote and flexible on hours. What matters is output, not when you're online.
