omemo exists to bridge the gap between captured intent and completed action.

Screenshots are where intent goes when people cannot act immediately because of overload, timing, or availability. Existing systems treat screenshots as images. omemo treats them as signals: expressions of something the user cared about, but couldn't resolve yet.

Our goal is to make that intent durable, intelligible, and actionable over time.

omemo was started in 2026 by Cédric Montet. Before omemo, he founded Libcast and api.video, grew it into a global video infrastructure company, raised more than $16M, built a team of 50+, and eventually sold the company.
