Designer II - UX Design - Visual Design

Role description

As a Visual Designer, you re the cornerstone for aesthetics and visual excellence for each engagement that you are a part of. Apart from being a visual storyteller, you re a creative who can catch every single misalignment, enjoy playing around with colour palettes, experiment with grids and concepts, passionate about typography, illustrations and style guides, possess a good understanding of visual principles and dare to visualise an experience in the abstract and driving that vision into evolved designs.

Responsibilities

• Have a robust understanding of the design process and its application 

• Collaborate with internal teams & clients to define user interface requirements 

• Experiment and develop original visual creatives that are driven by strategic inputs and integrated between touch points and product experiences for different platforms & devices 

• Produce original assets including visual components, icons and digital styles

• Bring inspired ideas to the table and guiding those ideas through to fruition with extreme attention to detail 

• Create style guides and scalable components from scratch that are part of a larger design system 

• Create design concepts with detailed micro-interactions and present your output to internal teams and client leadership 

• You may need to work closely with client team that may include Product Owners, Delivery managers, Product Designers 

• Deliver and QA the output to ensure designs and assets are ready for handoff 

• Collaborate with the engineering team and ensure the integrity of original design is maintained and it meets the appropriate usability standards 

• Be willing to align your output to existing brand guidelines and patterns 

• Experiment with the latest design practices, tools & techniques 

• Ability to meet deadlines while working on team projects 

Requirements 

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in related design discipline or Relevant work experience 

• 1-3 years of industry experience 

• An online portfolio showcasing latest projects (school/live). Share password if protected or be willing to showcase the work during the interview 

• Working knowledge of latest user interface design and prototyping tools 

• Ability to create new visual design concepts 

• Aware of WCAG guidelines and ways to implement 

• Understanding of end-to-end design process 

• Experience in creating style guide & design systems 

• AI technologies and their application in visual design is a plus. 

• Ability to create original artworks, illustrations and icons is a plus
