About this Opportunity
We are looking for a smart, proactive, and results-oriented Software Engineer to build elegant solutions for the insurance industry's complex business domain and make our industry-leading products even better.
You will have the opportunity to make an impact and contribute to a complex application suite of products, mission-critical to insurance companies.
You will be trained on the existing Product architecture of different Verisk product offerings and technology solutions.
Contribute to the development, which may span across multiple products using Python and associated libraries, REST API development, AWS, GenAI, Data and Analytics use cases.
You will develop unit tests for newly implemented components.
Proactively contribute to software performance optimizations and continuous improvements to code quality, robustness and development processes
Prepare documentations and specifications.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline.
Familiarity with OOPS concepts with Python is preferable.
Knowledge of Cloud platform and GenAI features is a plus.
Should be having zeal to learn new technologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
