We make sure every bite of video content gets to millions of viewers, at the highest quality possible. We are growing fast and looking for talented Engineers who are up for one of the biggest yet outcomes in the video streaming business as we gun to be the primary destination for digital first entertainment in India and make JioCinema accessible to every Indian.

What you will do:

• Architect, build, and maintain new and existing features for iOS and/or Apple TV applications.

• Design and implement resilient streaming mechanisms to ensure seamless playback under high-concurrency scenarios.

• Collaborate with the design team to ensure the application aligns with the latest design guidelines and provides an intuitive user experience.

• Regularly profile application performance and optimize for maximum speed, efficiency, and scalability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve streaming bottlenecks, ensuring an uninterrupted streaming experience for end-users.

• Integrate with backend services to provide real-time content updates and user functionalities.

• Adapt applications to various screen sizes, resolutions, and device capabilities.

• Design and implement rigorous unit and integration tests.

• Coordinate with QA teams for end-to-end testing, ensuring optimal performance on actual devices under real-world conditions.

• Keep up to date with Apple's latest development frameworks, guidelines, and features.

• Proactively research emerging technologies and techniques that can enhance the platform's performance and capabilities.

Who should Apply:

• iOS Engineers with 2-4 years of experience in iOS app development using Swift or objective C.

• Engineers with working experience in Swift or Objective C, iOS Frameworks, various architecture patterns, OOPs concepts, MVVM etc.

• Experienced with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, UI Kitetc.

• Hands on experience in multi-threaded programming and good knowledge of networking concepts along with enhancing profiling apps.

• Hands-on with the tools like Git Bitbucket, JIRA, or Confluence.

• Experience of accessing data as JSON/ XML using REST APIs.

• Good to be experienced on Swift UI, Swift Package Manager, Swift Lint

• Knowledge of iOS design patterns and best practices.
