We make sure every byte of video content gets to millions of viewers, at the highest quality possible. We are growing fast and looking for talented Engineers who are up for one of the biggest yet outcomes in the video streaming business as we gun to be the primary destination for digital first entertainment in India and make JioCinema accessible to every Indian.

What will you do :

• As a SDE II, you will play a crucial role in the Engineering Team and as a highly skilled software developer, you will be responsible for developing both frontend and backend web architecture. You will be building tools / products from scratch and taking them to wider adoption. You will be expected to take a project from conception to end user products.

• Designing and enhancing front-end to improve user experience.

• Creating efficient back-end RESTful server applications.

• Establishing servers and databases to support overall functionality.

• Ensuring the responsiveness of applications for optimal user interaction.

• Overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery.

• Crafting APIs, Browser Extensions, Scripts, etc., tailored to project requirements.

• Addressing both technical specifications and end-user needs effectively.

• Selecting and contributing to the appropriate tools/programming languages for assigned tasks.

Who should apply for this role :

• 3 to 5 years of experience and expertise in full-stack development.

• Proficient in essential front-end languages, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Previous professional experience with JavaScript libraries/frameworks like React, Vue, or Svelte would be helpful.

• Substantial experience with server-side languages such as Ruby, NodeJs, and Go would be an advantage.

• Familiarity with database technologies, such as MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB.

• Capable of writing simple scripts in bash/shell/python/ruby.

• Outstanding verbal communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Meticulous attention to detail.
