Last year me and my friends started playing a party game called pub golf on nights out. This is essentially a pub crawl but with added rules and a point system. The game was really fun, but tracking the scores was difficult (especially as you got more drunk).
As I had wanted to become a full time software developer, I thought it may be a good chance to create a simple application that assisted in tracking the scores as a way of learning. Since then the application has become more than just a point tracker and now includes features like a local pub map, custom penalties, and an option to export game summaries that outline the route you took.
I have just released the app to the Apple Appstore which can be found here: `https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/pub-golf-the-party-game/id6503321296` and would greatly appreciate any feedback as this is my first application and would like to know things that I may need to improve on such as UI design, or task flows.
The app is totally free, although does contain ads (hoping they will even out the cost from using google api for map data).
The app was built entirely in c# using .net maui, I'm still unsure if I would recommend .net maui as I've definitely had a fair few issues with it but they may boil down to my lack of experience.
Thanks for reading :)
