Self Exploration — Morals, Ethics and Values

Self Exploration — Morals, Ethics and Values

Everything in this world has some rules on which that thing works, it has its uniqueness by which it exists in environment and a limitation which restrict or controls it. Something which has no rules gets uncontrollable and sometimes harms itself.

Same like as every human have some morals, ethics and values which are made by belief which developed over time, culture which he follows and the environment in which he interacts.

As I learned and experienced, I think this is the foundation of the self exploration to know our morals, beliefs and values, we know all these subconscious but never consciously.

By questioning every belief which we developed, understanding our culture and how it affecting our environment, how other cultures work, understanding our environment and how it changes with our actions is very necessary.

This self-reflection helps us in knowing our capabilities, weaknesses, limitations, resourcefulness, helps us to understand when to use our powers, when to crossing our limits, and it helps in reacting much better according to the situation.

For me this self exploration journey needs self-reflection, observation, questioning and most important a pen and paper.

Actionable steps — Take every aspect of your life and make morals, rules and ethics of it, for example college life, love, career, parenting etc.
