Kaeso

Kaeso is an open source AI gateway you run yourself. Apps talk to one API and you keep the provider keys, routing and usage on your side.

Hosted options like Portkey, OpenRouter, Helicone, Cloudflare AI Gateway or Vercel AI Gateway sit between you and the models. You send them your keys and traffic. With Kaeso you host it, so that stuff stays with you.

LiteLLM is also open source and self hostable and covers a lot of providers. Kaeso is faster and more focused. The whole architecture is fundamentally better designed.
