The API section is the part most people miss. Auckland Council GeoMaps and Auckland Transport both expose queryable ArcGIS REST endpoints with no API key, under a CC-BY 4.0 licence. The Unitary Plan is a more interesting case: zone polygons are queryable, rule text is not, and there is a page explaining that split with a worked example.

It also ships three free calculators. One works out what Watercare will charge a development in Infrastructure Growth Charges, by area, for residential and business. One compares three loan offers on true total cost including line and establishment fees, because the lowest rate is often not the cheapest loan. One runs a quick feasibility with margin on cost against the 20 percent funder hurdle, a sale versus build sensitivity grid, and the residual land value a scheme can actually pay for a site.
