Sochen: a personal AI agent that actually does the work

Most AI assistants are chatbots. You ask, they talk, and you still do the work yourself. Sochen (सोचें, "let's think") is a personal AI agent that does the work for you. Tell it what you need in English, Hindi or Hinglish, and it researches, plans, fills in the details, splits the money and hands you the result, while asking before anything leaves your hands.

Why I built it

Meta's Muse isn't available in India, and the AI assistants that are, don't know how we live. Nobody's assistant understood "Kerala trip ka hisaab kar do, sabko UPI bhej do." So I built one that does.

What Sochen does

Real work, not just replies

• Researches a question and hands you a file: a PDF comparison, a Word document, slides or a spreadsheet

• Reads your rent agreement and flags the rent, deposit, notice period and the clauses worth pushing back on

• Shops for you in a cloud browser and stops at the cart. Nothing is ordered, no payment details are touched

• Runs longer jobs in the background and tells you by email or notification when they're done

Made for India

• UPI bill splitting: splits a bill item by item, with GST and tip, and sends everyone a UPI request with a QR code

• Keeps running balances for trips, flats and friend groups until everyone is even

• Checks a UPI QR before you pay, so you see who the money actually goes to

• Knows your city: places, commute times by car, bike or metro, and neighbourhood reports with how built-up an area is
