crystl keeps your projects organized, alerts you when you’re needed, and makes multitasking with AI agents manageable.
crystl is a native macOS terminal and companion iPhone app built for orchestrating AI coding agents at scale.
Work is organized into Gems, which contain Shards—terminal sessions and spawned agents. Instead of hunting through tabs and windows, crystl surfaces agent questions, approvals, and notifications in floating panels so you can focus on the work that matters.
Launch agents with dedicated Git worktrees, manage a shared backlog, develop remotely over SSH, use an agent-aware CLI, and connect MCPs, APIs, skills, and custom tooling.
crystl also includes token usage and optimization tools, searchable conversation history stored locally on your machine, session autosave and restore, a skills and rules library, and a hero system for creating specialized agents.
Its built-in IRC-style collaboration feature, cystl quest, lets you assemble parties of agents—such as Wizards, Rogues, and Warriors—each with unique strengths and responsibilities. Agents collaborate in a shared chat environment, coordinate tasks, and work together toward larger goals.
crystl is agent-agnostic, although some features—such as notification panels—rely on hooks currently supported by Claude Code and Codex.
